Our History
SEO Africa was founded in 2012 as a chapter of SEO in Africa, operating as a non-profit leadership development organization dedicated to expanding its presence across the continent. It identifies high-potential university students, providing them with training, mentorship, and corporate access to cultivate a strong network of future leaders throughout Africa. Over the past twelve years, SEO Africa has built a powerful network of alumni who have gone on to achieve remarkable accomplishments both in Africa and around the world. Since its inauguration, SEO Africa has positively impacted over 10,000 African youth and will continue to do so.
Our Mission
SEO Africa was established to select, train, mentor, and provide corporate access to the youth of Africa and ultimately develop a network of future leaders for the world at large. We empower these young people by bridging the opportunity gap and creating pathways to meaningful employment globally. We are committed to equipping young people—regardless of gender or economic disadvantage—with the education, skills, resources, and network needed to thrive in the modern workforce.
